Authorship & Contributorship

Jurnal Psikologi Ulayat adheres to the authorship criteria defined by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authorship credit must be based on:

  1. Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data;
  2. Drafting the work or revising it critically for important intellectual content;
  3. Final approval of the version to be published;
  4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

Contributors who do not meet all four criteria should be acknowledged in an Acknowledgments section rather than listed as authors.

Authorship Changes: Any addition, deletion, or rearrangement of author names must be approved by all authors and the Editor-in-Chief prior to publication.

Use of AI: Authors must transparently disclose any use of artificial intelligence (AI) or AI-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation.
