UNESCO had declared year of 1995 as the year of tolerance. This declaration was triggered by the raising of conflict and violence, that is indicated the declining of tolerance against differences. Based on this assumption, it was believed that tolerance was importance so we can live together in peace. This teaching tolerance activity was designed for children age 4-6 years, because in fact children learn to act intolerance since they were in early age. Its flexibility made this activity could be done either in school or home setting. This teaching tolerance activity was summarized from need analysis and another program aimed to teaching tolerance, such as United Nation, Living Values and Education for Mutual Education Program. The conclusions of the materials are: self respect, respect for others, respect the differences, and peaceful conflict resolution. Those four materials were breaking into 16 small activities with much considering the areas of development, such as social-emotional, language and cognitive, physic-esthetic, and then motivation. Those 16 activities mostly arranged in the form of games, since children were close to play and games activity. Checklist method combined with systematically observation conducted by teacher was used to evaluate this activity.
